Just because over 95% of Blacks voted for Obama DOES NOT MEAN THAT THEY ARE RACISTS !!!
When Bush, Clinton, Nixon, Reagan won the Presidency, did that mean WHITE FOLKS THAT VOTED FOR THEM WERE RACIST?
When are we going to be embrace the fact that we all are ONE FLESH, ONE BLOOD? We are different Ethnicly, but are one race, and that is THE HUMAN RACE !!!!

One thing that you have to understand is that when it comes to blacks supporting other blacks there are other factors involved than just race. You have to remember not so long ago there were not many white Americas who were looking after blacks interest . The only way black Americas were able to overcome injustices was by sticking together when no one else would. But if the only reason that a person voted for someone was the color of there skin then I would have to agree they are racist.

Your comment regarding black racism smacks of sour grapes. If you were a black voter and paid attention to the complete lack of respect and contempt McCain exhibited during the debates, would you have voted for him? More to the point, what message do you think McCain sent to the black community with his actions? His supporters' initial reaction during his concession speech was an honest reflection of the McCain camp---in this case, blacks are not being racist, we were exercising common sense!!!

How are blacks racist simply because they voted for a black candidate? So does that make women sexist if they didn't vote for McCain/Palin? If I'm not mistaken, every black person who has voted since The Civil Rights Act was signed, has voted for a white man. Your comment dated 11/5/08 screams sour grapes! Why would Blacks vote for the party that supports the Confederate flag? (Weren't they declared the "Loser" in the Civil War?) That makes about as much sense as flying the flag of any other Country or Group who opposed America and was conquered!

Last point, 43% of White voters chose Obama...Blacks only make up 13 % of the population and all Blacks didn't register/ vote.

Yes Blacks are racist, On Sunday 11-2-08 on BET they had awards or something & The singers were telling people to vote Black,If a white said that blacks would whine racism.Thats not right,they should vote for the best person.If Whites are racist it is because of the blacks ways,They would rather be players and use people(women,welfare)The Black women (now even white women)make bad choices have babies,get welfare,cheap rent and have a man living with her selling drugs robbing and killing driving nice cars,buying junk food with welfare.(Why should they work when they can get a handout.We should make them work for their handout.a lot of women keep having babys and can't name their babys daddy,they should not get welfare.If the fathers don't want to pay child support then put them in jail and make then work cleaning the highways or other things If they had to work in jail,they would soon realize that it is better to work in the free world making more money than in jail(of course they don't care about going to jail,Its free rent & 3 hot meals.

I have seen alot in my time.Nothing was ever given to us,We have to work hard for it.We have 2 daughters and stopped because we could not afford any more,we've had alot of hard times,but we never recieved any welfare or help,we just worked harder to make ends meet.and that is what it takes,not welfare.

Solution to the problem:Quit whining and using the system and get off your lazy butts and start working for what you want. and start being parents to your kids instead of expecting others to raise them. THAT IS THE AMERICAN WAY!!!!
Anybody can do or be anything they want,but you have to work for it.

I speak my mind about alot of experiences in alot of big and small towns and states,this is a problem everywhere.
I think Obama should address these problems,It would save the taxpayer millions a year and put confidence in more people to take control of their lives to make this a better America.

White people need to speak up,get load like the blacks instead of hiding in your house keeping quiet.

After all this is the time for change.Speak your mind and hold your ground no matter what,that is how the blacks do it.

Your candidates, McCain and Palin started the whole issue of who is more American, who is Anti American...all based on false assumptions, all lies...lumping people into groups based on religion, on color, on their name....don't even go the race route, and overwhelming all intelligent Americans saw through these lies and anti-American statements from the republicans. Look at the audiences in Obamas rallies, very diversified, whites, blacks all sorts of colors and ages...look at the McCain audiences all white...says something very profound.....Amongst young educated voters, Obama overwhelmingly won the vote....Obama stayed away from the negative campaign tactics of character assassination...his calm manner, his intelligence are keys to his victory. When you listen to him speak, if you have any sense, you hear the words that all of us have longed to hear, about how our country is based on equality of all, opportunity for all regardless of your gender, your race, you religion...all the fundamentals our fore fathers wanted... and are in our constitution. Wake up and quit playing the us against you card....open your mind....Go USA!

What kind of stupid are you? First President Elect Obama gets beat down with being a member of Rev. Wright's congregation for 20 years (A Christian Church) and yet you still call him a Muslim? And so what if he is Muslim, wasn't this country built on religious freedom? You seem to think that whites were NOT racist yesterday at the polls because they voted overwhelmingly for Obama but blacks were racist for doing the same thing...So if I am white and voted for McCain, does that make me a bigot like you?

I am black just so you know...and so all these hundreds of years blacks have voted for whites where we racist then?

Obama was the best candidate out there and we had an obligation to vote for the best candidate out there and because he is black it only gives us some inspiration and hope that maybe the Constitution was ment to benefit us too!! Although the racist at its inception wanted to maintain slavery and it eventually had to be modified.

So by your logic, all of the whites that voted for McCain are racists. Likewise the blacks who voted for McCain are not racists. Quite frankly, I think your logic is flawed. Rather than look for the worst in people why not consider the fact that the message of change from President-elect Obama was consistent from the beginning of his campaign and that message resonated among whites, blacks, Hispanics, Asians and native Americans. Rev. Jesse Jackson did not garner as much support in his presidential run. Fact it. It was the man and his message not his race! At this moment in America, any candidate who appealed to such a broad coalition across America would have won the majority of the black vote. Look at Pres. Kennedy and Clinton. You may not like the man or his message. That is the freedom of America but to label a whole people as racists because they voted for the candidate they felt would best serve the interests of the country as well as themselves is wrong. Otherwise look in the mirror!
